Working with your information
Discovery establishes the handling arrangements for your engagement. These are the decisions to make together; exact providers, retention periods and support commitments depend on the agreed scope.
Public demonstrations use labelled fictional information. Live customer connections are paused. Start an enquiry with a description of the task; leave out confidential files, credentials and sensitive personal information.
Name the source owner, approved users, purpose and permitted records. Choose approved exports or scoped connections and test permission boundaries before wider use.
Specify the customer workspace, hosting region, providers, model use and any international processing in the proposal. The fictional samples do not prove a customer connection or region has been configured.
Agree retention for source copies, indexes, outputs, logs and backups, including who can request deletion, the timescale and how deletion will be checked.
Agree ownership and access to accounts, source information, application assets and documentation. Identify export formats, handover steps and any third-party licence restrictions.
Define who checks answers, citations, missing information and exceptions. Agree representative test tasks and acceptance criteria. Sample confidence scores are illustrative; benefits need measurement.
Name delivery and review owners, response hours, operating costs and the handover recipient. Specify any specialist cover in the agreement before relying on it.
